Day By Day Behavioral Health and Addiction Services knows the challenges that come with dealing with addiction and mental health. We are here to help individuals face these challenges and embrace their greatness day by day!

Day By Day Behavioral Health and Addiction Services was created to help individuals struggling with addiction and behavioral health. Our goal has been to help guide individuals to live a healthy, happy, and hopeful lifestyle while achieving their greatness towards healing, recovery, and stability. We want individuals to have the confidence and strength needed to push forward with healing and resilience. We encourage individuals to live gracefully in their greatness knowing they have the ability to see it through and overcome any hurdles with ease. We care about the wellbeing of our clients and want to help them to care for themselves too.

Meet The Founders

Dr. Kimberly Wilson
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Dr. Kimberly is a certified Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) and Chemical Dependency Counselor who specializes in helping her clients understand the ways in which drugs and alcohol affect their daily lives on a personal and a physical level as well as within their relationships. Dr. Kimberly holds a Bachelor’s in psychology, a Master’s in Education, and a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Kimberly is a Tier I and Tier II veteran provider with the state of Ohio and the lead Lay counselor for her church. Dr. Kimberly oversees a grief support group as a way for individuals to be able to learn healthy ways of coping through listening and talking to relieve the everyday stress that comes with grief and loss.  Dr. Kimberly also provides paint therapy for those who are dealing with mental health issues, addiction, grief, and loss as another healthy form of coping. Today, Dr. Kimberly is working towards entrepreneurship and continuing to work with those who live with mental health issues and alcohol and drug addictions.

Diana Talley
Executive Director

Diana holds a Bachelor’s in Sociology with a background in Social Work, Diana is a certified Chemical Dependency Counselor, who specializes in group and individual counseling. Diana enjoys helping clients find healthy and productive coping skills while on the road to their healing and recovery. Diana is also a Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths Accessor (CANS), who evaluates children’s mental health and behavioral level of care. Diana is dedicated, motivated, and persistent in helping people succeed through their challenges. She thrives in providing services to our community focusing on the mental wellbeing and recovery of individuals. Diana has been involved in organizations like Franklin County Children Services, The Buckeye Ranch, and CHOICES. Diana has always been passionate about helping families in need of care.

Diana’s leadership skills and passion for this field drives her ability to lead in her Executive Director role at Day By Day Behavioral Health and Addiction Services.  She takes pride in overseeing the care coordination of our clients, developing care plans, safety plans, and treatments plans for a successful discharge. Diana and her partners will continue to work together to make Day By Day Behavioral Health and Addiction Services the best organization that provides more than services for our clients who are fighting mental health and addiction. Day By Day Behavioral Health and Addiction Services wants to provide affection, compassion, understanding, and support, not just for our clients but also for their families.

Curtisha Muhammad
Director of Operations

Curtisha is a dedicated and passionate director with a profound commitment to service others to foster a positive change in individuals and our communities, with an extensive business leadership background and over a decade of hands-on experience. Curtisha has honored her skills for 16 years collaborating with other Executive Directors, utilizing her superior analytical and critical thinking skills, in addressing complex issues and providing support to those in need. Her passion for advocacy is evident in her efforts to empower populations. Throughout her career. Curtisha has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in developing business plans, creating analytical tools and reports. Collaborating with various organizations to develop and implement programs that address the unique challenges faced by vulnerable populations. Curtisha’s experience extends to areas such as compiling statistical data, developing and training, CQI processes. Specializing in trauma informed care and a Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist.

Fun Fact: Curtisha had a Full Track & Field Scholarship, attending Southwestern Michigan College. During her time spent out of the office she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, participating in marathons, traveling, roller skating and listening to live music. Curtisha remains grounded by allowing God to head all her affairs in life.

Shanda Battle
Business Development Director

With 28 years of experience working at AT&T, Shanda has honed her skills in customer service, communication, and problem-solving. She has also owned and operated a successful Mental Health and Substance Abuse agency, where she provided critical support and resources to those in need.

​

In addition to her extensive work experience, Shanda Battle is completing her Healthcare Administration degree, further expanding her knowledge and expertise in the field. She holds certifications as a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) and Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist (QBHS), showcasing her dedication to helping individuals overcome addiction and mental health challenges.

Outside of her professional life, Shanda is married, a proud mother of four children, and enjoys an active lifestyle. She is an avid participant in Hip Hop Zumba classes, combining her passion for music and dance with her commitment to staying healthy and fit.

With a diverse background in telecommunications, mental health, and business, Shanda is a well-rounded professional dedicated to making a positive impact on helping others, and her commitment to personal growth makes her a valuable asset.

Wanikki Cabell
Creative Director

Wanikki is one of the founders/partners at Day By Day Behavioral Health and Addiction Services. Wanikki is Co-owner of Tell Her She's Beautiful, and the owner of Poetry Grind Entertainment. She is an author and poet. She has published poetry books and children’s books. Wanikki has her Masters in Criminal Justice and Bachelor's in Marketing. She is an experienced Case Manager in behavioral health, domestic violence, and addiction services. Wanikki is also a Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist.

With Wanikki’s business mindset she drives the creativity for marketing at Day By Day Behavioral Health and Addiction Services working to promote in the best ways the success of the business. Her passion in this field of work is to continue to help people thrive to be their greatest self and overcome the challenges they may feel holds them back. Wanikki’s mantra is stay positive, encourage others, and always focus on being a better version of you.
